We are excited to announce that we’ve added a new member to our team of experts at Execution Labs! Pejman Mirza-Babaei has joined XL as Director of User Research, overseeing User Experience (UX) research and playtesting for all PPA and Finishing Fund teams. Pejman is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where he researches and teaches game design and development. His main interest is in developing methods to provide formative feedback to game developers during the game development cycle to optimize player experiences. Before moving to Canada, Pejman worked in the UK at Vertical Slice and Player Research Ltd, where he worked on pre- and post-release evaluation of various titles such as Crysis 2, Split/Second Velocity, Pure, Buzz Quiz World and Sony’s Wonderbook.
