Execution Labs is excited to announce the newest studio to be funded through the Finishing Fund. Based in Los Angeles, the team at La Cosa has a strong vision for injecting narrative and a unique perspective into their games. Welcome to the XL family!

Throughout 2015 we will be working together to polish and perfect their original platformer KLAUS. Featuring unexpected gameplay mechanics, genius “glitch” levels, and a Memento-esque narrative, KLAUS is sure to bring the platforming experience to new heights. Beginning as the titular character, the player embodies a man who has the name “Klaus” tattooed on his arm. As gameplay continues Klaus and his new friend (and playable second character) K1 embark on an existentially definitive journey. Together they explore the notion of the fourth wall, unveiling a self-awareness between the player and the characters.
