Today we are positively deeee-lighted to announce that game industry veteran Derek Elliott has joined our Island of Misfit Toys as Product Director. In his 20 year career, Derek has led mega projects like Far Cry 3 for big publishers like Ubisoft as well as independent efforts such as Compulsion Games’ recent hit Contrast.

At XL, Derek’s role will be to provide production guidance to teams in our Pre-Production Accelerator and Finishing Fund programs. He’ll also be a resource for XL’s lovely alumni studios. Welcome Derek–hope you know what you’re getting yourself into!
