Calling all Bros! Er, and everyone else, too.

Execution Labs is delighted to announce the first game to launch out of the Winter 2015 Accelerator cohort. PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist, a wacky 16-bit platformer dripping with the humor that PewDiePie’s fans have come to know and love, launched today on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore for $4.99 USD. Prices may vary depending on where you live, of course.

Montréal-based Outerminds has spent the past nine months collaborating with Pewds and his fans, usually referred to as Bros, to make an epic retro-inspired game. In the game, PewDiePie (aka Felix Kjellberg) is joined by other predominant YouTubers CutiePieMarzia, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, CinnamonToastKen, and Cryaotic as playable characters out to …do whatever. Something about evil barrels.

Did you know that the story of Brofist’s creation is just as unique as the game itself? The founders of Outerminds participated in the GameJolt game jam in late 2014. In 72 hours they built and submitted the survival platformer PewDiePie’s Paradise Island that featured PewDiePie as a playable character. Pewds took notice, and asked them if they could make the same game only “bigger, longer, and badder!”

The rest is history as the game is already spreading like wildfire across the web.
